MOYZES QUARTET in mansion

Since its foundation in 1975 it has been one of the most famous chamber ensambles in Slovakia. The Quartet members are graduates of the Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Bratislava and their studies continued at the University of Music and Perforning Arts in Vienna. The Quartet repertoire encompasess old style periods including works of contemporary Slovak composers, many of whoom directly dedicated their pieces to the Quartet. Over the first concert of the festival the Quartet will introduce the art works of musical giants such as W. A. Mozart, J. S. Bach, A. Dvořák, A. Piazolla and C. Gardel.
